Dear Alan:
For posterity, I kept this link as my "proof" of winning an award.
The link is no longer active.
I have no idea if a certificate will be awarded, as the monies have already been distributed.

If we are in the digital world for "Proofs of Publishing Credits and Awards", how can one feel confident in documenting when links disappear and in under one year's time?

... "Sorry, the file you have requested does not exist.

Make sure that you have the correct URL and the file existed."

Sincerely,
Jan Benson

Dear Jan,

I am glad he honoured the cash prizes but I am puzzled why the certificates have not been sent too as the Association seems to have become the Gruppo Italiano Haiku now and active with kukai including cash prizes and certificates. Voting is active through October and November of this year.

Gruppo Italiano Haiku KUKAI IN LINGUA ITALIANA II EDIZIONE, ANNO 2016:

The FB page for the old defunct association appears to be for the new Gruppo Italiano Haiku:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/associazionehaiku/?pnref=story

I see you are a member on the Facebook page.   I have just applied to be a member too, just now.

The email on the google drive document about the kukai is:

email:
[email protected]

Let us know how you get on.  I assume Luca Cenisi is head of this group.

warm regards,

Alan

Alan: yes I joined the new group, and it actually has translations attached to many of the postings. Very different feel to this group. Exciting.

I signed up for the emails from the old group? And I am still getting them. The announcements may have been in the emails, but the letters/documents are never sent with English translation. ONE of the reasons I joined the Kukai group.

I will see about getting more details on certificates and linked announcements to the contest. Probably after Oct 3rd. As right now I am snowed under with obligations.

Thanks for connecting all the names and places together for me. I would not have thought about them starting a new group after the contest.

Dear Alan:   10/31/16

Regarding the lost link to the winners of this contest...

On October 26, 2016, I sent an email to [email protected] addressed to Luca Cenisi requesting information on pending certificates, or an updated link to this year's contest winners.

I have yet to hear anything at all on this request.
Suggestions on how to contact Luca Cenisi in another format might be helpful.

Sincerely
Jan Benson

Dear Jan,

Luca Cenisi emailed many of us that a Facebook page titled "European Haiku" has been created and it is
still online, so we really hope to meet you there for sharing articles, haiku, and other Japanese form-based poems.

The European Haiku page is up, perhaps post your query there?
https://www.facebook.com/europeanhaiku/?fref=ts

Hopefully this will be resolved.

warm regards,

Alan

Alan,
I long ago liked and followed that group, but it is not on my personal listing of groups.
FOR now, I updated my settings in E H to begin to receive all posts/pics/links.
Sent E H a private message to let them know I don't appear to be in the group, and am awaiting response.
Thanks, again.
