Anusha Tennakoon is a medical doctor from Sri Lanka, currently a PhD candidate in Pathology. She started writing haiku recently in 2012 and they have been published in The Mainichi, World Haiku Review, Asahi Haikuist Network, Notes from the Gean and Chrysanthemum. Her haiga have appeared in the World Haiku Association monthly haiga contest and some of her other works are forth coming in Frogpond and Contemporary Haibun Online. She lives in Osaka with her husband Kavindra and little daughter Dihini.
