Patrick M. Pilarski is the author of Huge Blue (Leaf Press 2009) and the chapbook Five Weeks (2007). His poetry has appeared in journals and anthologies across North America, Europe, Australia, and Japan. Patrick is the co-editor of DailyHaiku, and poetry editor for its new sister publication, DailyHaiga.
Awards and Other Honors: Recent awards for haiku and related work include: Second Prize, 13th Mainichi International Haiku Contest (2009); Honourable Mention, Tanka Society of America International Tanka Contest (2009); and Finalist, paper wasp jack stamm haiku award (2008). Work has also been selected for inclusion in anthologies such as Take Five: Best Contemporary Tanka (Modern English Tanka Press, 2009) and seed packets: an anthology of flower haiku (bottle rockets press, 2010).
