I am a performance poet that came to micropoetry - haiku, senryu, tanka, etc. - through the Head-To-Head Haiku tournaments of poetry slam festivals; mentored by Tazuo Basho Yamaguchi. I write under-20 syllable poems as hobby and habit and facilitate the Microverses Workshop. Besides my own 2 collections, my work has been anthologized by Write Bloody Publishing, Thought Crime Press, and Red Bench Press; appeared in Columbia Poetry Review, 16th & Mission Review, WusGood.Black, Bestiary, Caravel Journal, and Radius Lit; and has been presented online by All Def Poetry & Button Poetry.
