Margherita Petriccione is a retired math teacher born in Scauri, a seaside village from which she has drawn inspiration for many of her poems, as from her tiny garden where she finds serenity and communion with nature. She felled in love with haiku at first sight and found in it the poetic form closest to her sensibility.
